Great Big Haircuts

June 28, 2014

Aunt Jenny is a rockstar. On a Friday night, she agreed to give all six of us haircuts. She laughed and said I couldn’t have any more babies as in a normal workday she does 8 cuts. Our family alone has almost doubled her quota for the day. She’s the best though. Everyone wants her, including the six of us.

First up, Elizabeth. We realized half way through her haircut that she’s the first of the Boster kids not to get their first haircut at the salon. Oops. At least Aunt Jenny has been the craftsman behind each of them.

Too young to watch movies on the tablet, she gets a comb instead, and of course my sensory baby chooses to eat it.

Sweet Clare had just gotten her hair long enough to pull up into a ponytail. Jenny wanted so badly to give her a great-big haircut in keeping with tradition. (Katie had lots of them when she was little.) There is some wisdom in getting all the pieces the same length, but admittedly, I really liked it long.

Katie also got a great-big haircut, grown-up style though. Doesn’t it look great?! She was ready for a change and we were ready for some style on her.

Mommy got a great-big hair cut and Michael & daddy also got a new do. Thanks Aunt Jen. You did great AGAIN! We love you! All in a night’s work, right?! THANKS!!!

WOW, lots of changes, everyone looks GREAT; Love your new do, Sara Lin-Katie Ruth looks all grown up :( & sweet Clare looks so darn cute! The boys & baby Elly didn’t get quite such drastic cuts or at least I didn’t see the mohawks in the picture :) Can’t believe how big Julius is..gosh, all the babies are no longer babies but I agree with Jen…prayerfully this will be the last Boster child God blesses you with!
