King Nathan & Queen Sara
I love our kids. Katie has been reading this book, Just For Girls. She has been sharing with us all kinds of interesting facts and trivia. Yesterday, she started her preparations for tonight’s big event.
This note greeted me when I woke from my nap.
… and at 7:00 p.m. (we had some evening complications in scheduling) I was escorted to my rocking throne to wait for my guest. What greeted me was a lovely table complete with a bouquet of flowers fit for a queen.
decorations hanging from the porch …
handcrafted Lego flowers from both Katie & Michael …
and then my King.
Our servers were first class.
We feasted on chocolate fondue and chicken enchiladas and enjoyed the 65F weather.
Our children are the best. I’m so honored they spent so much time putting together this night.
They spent the morning creating our Lego flowers and the hearts as well as the snowflakes. Tonight, they cut our fruit and prepared our fondue while Nate & I got dressed in our “fancy” clothing. It was a blessed night…a few moments of love, peace, and time together compliments of our children.

OH my…they are such characters! How thoughful and so sweet!!!!! Love those two!!!!
So thoughtful and sweet! How KT reminds me of you Sara. I remember doing things like that for mom mostly. Making her special breakfasts in bed. My favorite thing to do was to write her notes and leave them under her pillow. After she died I found so many notes that she had saved from me through the years! Thank you for sharing your special day! Loved your “kings” photo! Ha… xoxoxoxoxox
they have such sweet, sweet souls & HUGE hearts, how very thoughtful & thank you for sharing. BTW…fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree—you’re an incredible, awesome example for your beautiful children Sara Lin
Love you so much & what great memories you are creating!
